Orlando Ice Cream Caterer
Ice Twister Ice Cream Sundae Socials and Catering began in 2001 with a retail location in Downtown Orlando, right in the center of Church Street Station. I knew that Orlando lacked an Ice Cream Catering company that featured Premium Amish homemade ice cream and that would bring the ice cream social experience to your office. The retail location featured over 40 flavors of our Amish homemade ice cream, pretzels, smoothies and much more. As our popularity began to spread, our sales and demand for our ice cream parties began to increase. Unfortunately, just six months after opening, we lost our lease to a condominium highrise and we had to relocate.
With increasing demand for our Orlando Ice Cream Parties, I decided to focus on off site catering services and not retail. Our first corporate client was American Online (AOL). They had a local call center, and we served over 500 Ice Cream Sundaes. From that day on, I knew we were into something big. I knew that before long we would become the choice for Orlando Ice Cream Caterer.
The Orlando Ice Cream Catering Company
In 2002, we opened a new ice cream catering facility, servicing business to business. Eventually, we became Orlando’s Ice Cream Social Caterer. We decided to focus on business with 20 or more employees, property managers, home owners associations and pharmaceutical companies. By the end of 2003, we were positioned as Orlando’s exclusive ice cream caterer. The relationships that we built then have been the foundation of today’s success.
By 2007, Ice Twister Ice Cream Socials and Catering had become a common name among all of Orlando’s property managers, Building Owners Manager’s Associations (Boma) members, and local business. Our Amish Homemade Ice Cream Parties was becoming a yearly tradition at many local business, tenant appreciation and corporate events.
By 2009, our Orlando Ice Cream parties had become a Central Florida sensation and we were serving more Ice Cream Sundae Socials quests per year than any other retail location in Orlando and perhaps the whole State of Florida. We soon realized that our unique concept, quality and service in the Ice Cream Social Parties would expand into Holiday events such as Chocolate Fondue Fountain Socials & Rentals, Breakfast Catering, Sweet Socials and other socials targeted towards employee and tenant appreciation.
Celebrating Our 10th Year Anniversary & 1 Millionth Sundae
We are proud to say that this year marks our 10 year anniversary as Orlando Ice Cream Socials & Catering. We are very excited in having Orlando’s largest market share for Ice Cream Parties as we currently service almost 98% of all of Downtown Orlando’s class A office buildings. This year we have surpassed all of our previous year’s goals and have served our 1,000,000th Sundae. This achievement could not have been possible without our hard working staff that provides excellent service, our loyal customers that call us back year after year and our loyal vendors which continue to provide us exclusively in Orlando with the best quality products and ingredients.
Pioneering Our Ice Cream Catering Future
While some come and go and try to imitate our concept, Ice Twister Ice Cream Socials & Catering is developing innovative ways to maintain our leadership as Orlando Ice Cream Caterer. Our research and development team is constantly experimenting with new flavors and ingredients. We aim to bring you the best Amish Homemade Ice Cream and premium ice cream toppings. This year we launched our exquisite Gelatto selection. It played a great part in this year’s total success and are currently developing new flavor selections. They will include sensational ice cream flavors from all around the world. We are also launching Orlando’s first TwisterMobile which is capable of serving thousands of guests outside on a daily basis.
